What Black Wall Street Taught Me About Million Dollar Collaborations™

Good Morning! Good Morning! Good Morning!

Reader,

This past weekend I traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma.

I was invited to speak at a Juneteenth event and while things didn't quite unfold as planned, I left with something even more valuable than a speaking engagement.

I left with perspective.

For the first time, I had the opportunity to visit Black Wall Street and tour the Greenwood Rising Museum.

As I walked through the exhibits and reflected on the history, one thought kept coming back to me:

Black Wall Street was one of the greatest examples of Million Dollar Collaborations™ in American history.

Most people look at Black Wall Street and see successful businesses.

I looked at it and saw relationships.

I saw business owners supporting one another.

I saw customers intentionally spending money within their community.

I saw people sharing opportunities, resources, knowledge, and connections.

I saw collaboration.

No one built Black Wall Street alone.

Its success was the result of thousands of people working together, doing business together, and creating economic opportunities for one another.

That's what I've been thinking about lately.

In a world where everyone is chasing followers, views, and algorithms, I believe we need to get back to building relationships.

Real relationships.

Strategic relationships.

Relationships that lead to partnerships, joint ventures, referrals, investments, introductions, and opportunities.

The truth is, one relationship can change your entire life.

One introduction can open a door that years of hard work cannot.

One collaboration can create opportunities that neither person could create alone.

That's one of the reasons I'm so excited about the direction we're taking with The M.O.B. Network.

We're not just building another community.

We're creating an environment where people can develop Million Dollar Collaborations™ and help one another grow.

And after spending time in Tulsa, I'm more convinced than ever that the spirit of "Do For Self" is alive and well.

In the coming weeks, I'll be sharing more about a new project I'm developing called the Do For Self Tour.

The goal is simple:

To inspire people to build businesses, create opportunities, strengthen relationships, and work together to create the future they want.

After all, that's exactly what the builders of Black Wall Street did.

More soon.

To your Victory and Success,

Brother Bedford

Happy Sunday Reader, I've been thinking about something... For years, I've been taught and I taught that your network determines your net worth. That is still true, but today, I believe there's another piece to the equation. You + AI × Your Network = $$$ Now before you roll your eyes and think this is another email about the "AI Phenomenon" , I want you to hear me out. AI by itself is not the answer. Your network by itself is not the answer. But when you combine Artificial Intelligence with a...

Greeting Reader, This is a legitimate question... How you answer this question will determine the types of moves you'll be making next year. Look, I know a lot of people who simply refuse to pay attentionto anything they perceive as "Negative".They will only focus on "The Positive Energy". And I get it... As much Hell as our people have to endure, the last thing you want to do is entertain "Negative News" or "Negative Thoughts". But here's the reality, Life is made up of Positive & Negative....

Greeting Reader, Yesterday I talked about how thousands of Black businesses may close their doors next year, not because they aren’t talented, passionate, or motivated… but because they aren’t strategic. And today I woke up thinking about something that’s been on my mind for a long time: Emotion and passion can FUEL your business — but Strategy is what STEERS it. Most of us were taught to work hard.To care deeply. To be committed. To push through. To show passion. To “believe in ourselves.” All...
